AsFound is a gardenwear brand built around natural materials, functional details and considered design. Clothing made for working in the garden, but equally at home beyond it. The aim is to create simple, purposeful products that feel good to wear and develop character with age.
I'm David Telfer, founder of AsFound. I've spent over 17 years working in fashion design, including six years at COS and ten years at Sunspel, most recently as Creative Director. Throughout my career, I've learnt that good design starts with understanding the right product for the right purpose and then working with specialists to make the best product possible. How something functions, feels and ages is just as important as how it looks.
My wife Danielle Telfer is a garden designer, and through our shared interest in gardens and the natural world, I've become increasingly interested in the clothing we wear outdoors. I wanted to bring my experience in product design to gardenwear, combining natural fabrics, useful functional details and a simple, understated aesthetic.
